Allison

Today i got to see Allison for the first time in five months. It was an awesome surprise, i knew she'd probably come home on weekends soon but i wasn't expecting it and when i saw her i instantly felt this happiness unlike anything iv'e felt in a very long time. Just hugging her was the best thing ever. i was so happy i was just about speachless. We got to visit awhile and it seems like she's doing well. I always wonder how she's doing, i have been thinking about her this weekend and it was amazing to go to church and see her. When this whole thing happened i didn't know what to think and i was worrying about her almost constantly, i'd think things like what if she changes dramatically? or, i wonder if she misses me, because i missed her so much. As time went on i was still thinking about her a lot and if i wasn't careful i'd think too much and end up crying. I just kept telling myself she's where she needs to be but that was so hard to accept. Months passed and a few weeks ago i talked to my friend and she said she went to visit Allison, which i had been meaning to do. She told me she was doing well,  that is when i found out she'd be able to come home on weekends soon. After i heard that i thought about her almost constantly again for weeks.  This weekend iv'e been thinking about her, and then it was amazing to see her. She is still crazy and just the Allison i know no more worrying. i know she's doing well and that's all i want. One of these weekends that she's home she's coming over, we've already decided that. This just gives me something to look forward to and be happy.

The first of MANY adventures with Aya

2 friends

Flipped!
Today we were going to go boating but it was cloudy so we went riding instead. I had planned to take Aya boating all week, when it was cloudy i was really sad. It turned out great anyways. It started by just showing Aya the trails after that she got off and i went by myself, as fast as i could of course. when i got back Aya took a turn then we switched off until i got on and crashed. I love the loose dirt. I always drift and slide through it. i did it once and it turned out awesome! HUGE dust cloud! When i got back up to the car Aya wanted to go together again, so i had to slow down but i still scared her a little. I found it funny when she screamed and she'd say "that's so fun!", well we got back to the car and she got off i took off as fast as i could and as i was coming back i hit my favorite patch of dirt and i lost control and flipped. It happened so fast i remember hitting the ground and thinking i have to get up. I got right back up, luckily the 4-wheeler didn't land on me and i started walking back to the car. I took off my helmet and looked down at myself i was completely covered in dust. When my dad and Aya got to me i said " i really didn't mean to.." and they got out of the car and we laughed about it for a few minutes i said "well now that iv'e done that i'll be able to be a little safer" then flipped it back over when Aya noticed some plastic was cracked she said, "i'm not sure if that was there before" then as we were looking we found more new cracks. I got in the car and Aya rode for a little bit longer then we left. It was a good day but i'm so sore i'd say it was worth it for the experience and the story but i hope it never happens again.   As Aya would say "only you Alexi, only you" Yes only i would take a friend riding and end up flipping. i'm just glad it wasn't her that got hurt, and i don't think she would've enjoyed it as much as i did.

4 years later...reunited!

4 years ago one of my best friends ever, moved to Mississippi and i was heart broken. We stayed in touch, but got in a few fights, went through some rough times. The move definitely hurt our friendship but through it all we are still great friends. Well now she's going to Byu. She came and visited me today. It was really good to see her and get to talk for awhile! We were laughing about some of the stuff we did 4 years ago, what were we thinking?? We admitted we'd probably still do some of that stuff....or at least i would and i'm sure Aya would too.  i'm looking forward to having her close again. We have already planned to go boating soon!

Me and Ellie

Just chillin'
We went back to Virginia last week. it was great! We got up early, early Saturday morning like, 3:45 and got in the car to catch a 6:00 flight. that was rough. When we got there, i was exhausted! Ellie was so happy to see us.We went to some museums the next couple of days. That was a busy few days for the little ones. Then a concert on Tuesday night, and another on Wednesday. Then Ellie came on our beach adventure with us. Josh convinced Jess to let her come and we had so much fun. It was a full week for Ellie, but i think she enjoyed it. We didn't make it too far before the car overheated. Luckily we got to a car shop. They were very nice there, we spent most the day there and they did everything they could to get us back on the road. But they couldn't get a part so they got us a rental car and we drove on. Got some lunch, Went to Chesapeake bay and then spent the night in a hotel waiting for the car to be fixed. We woke up the next morning and went to the Cracker Barrel for breakfast. Then headed back to the car shop, got the car and started the journey home. We stopped at a few little shops on the way, and finally made it home around 3:30 Even though we had car troubles i'd say it was a good two days. Ellie didn't get much of a nap on either day so she was exhausted, but still very pleasant for how tired she was. After i rested for an hour or so i convinced my dad we should go to the apple store. So we did, that's always fun. Then we picked up food from Cafe Sano. On Saturday Jess got sick so she was at the hospital for awhile so we didn't really do anything, it was a nice relaxing day after a long week. Sunday morning came too fast, and we were packing up to leave. Saying goodbye is never easy. But all in all it was a great week.

Haven't blogged for awhile

I really haven't blogged in awhile. I just forgot about it. Anyways this summer has had it's ups and downs. i went to Virginia in June, and we are going again in a few weeks. it'll be good to see Ellie again.  i haven't really done anything else, we've been boating a few times and we're going again for my birthday it should be fun. This weekend has been rough, i found out one of my best friends is on 24hr suicide watch. Today i was told she'll be there for 10 months to a year. i'm really sad she is really the only friend i hang out with and i never realized she was in so much pain. i will really miss her but i'm glad shes getting the help she needs, it'll be a rough time for me. i already really miss her and it's hard to grasp the thought that someone just down the street from me is now so far away.
i will miss you Allison.

Kobe Sushi

6.5
Today was crazy, we got up early and went riding, it was rainy and windy after not too long. Erin, Nic, Norah and the dogs came out to the field with us. When it got really cold we went to Erin's for a bit, then we got in the car, drove home got Colman and drove to Salt Lake. We saw the new sushi documentary, then went and had sushi. it was delicious, roll after roll. Colman ordered a Russian Roulette roll and there was one that was a 6.5 and the rest were 4 on the hot scale and i got the 6.5! Everyone was glad i got it, i kept saying how i wanted something really hot and i got it. i still think i could handle a 7 but we will see next time we go to eat there. it was a good day.

Segways

On Monday after school we went to look at segways. My dad has been saying we would for 2 weeks now and i didn't really believe him. Well we did, and i guess they were some people my dad knew. When they first started talking i was scared to ride one but it wasn't too bad i really liked it and almost ran over my dad and the guy that was helping me. It wasn't that big of an area so i couldn't really help it. Or could i? Anyways it was fun and i think we are getting a segway. They are going to let us bring one home for a weekend and i can ride it a little more. I'm excited for that.

Little Sahara

Stuck
Last week on Wednesday we went to the Little Sahara sand dunes. It was so fun! The middle of the week is the perfect time to go I've been wanting to go back. We finally got to use the sand paddles. Although it took forever to get there it was worth the long drive.  I'm looking forward to going back. As sore as it makes me i love it! Now all we need is another 4 wheeler so i don't wonder off and get lost. Once again we forgot the helmet cam...... We made a few videos on the iphone. i'll post them to YouTube if you don't know my YouTube channel is bwac4 go check it out i'll post some newer videos.

Lot's of stuff

Everyone knows i haven't blogged for a looong time. Well it's been busy and exhausting and it's finally spring break. I went to St George about a month ago, with Norah and Erin. Colman was Still in Europe and we decided to all cram in the car and go visit Grandma. st George is one of my favorite places ever. i'm sure after my grandparents are gone it won't be the same, but for now it is my favorite place to be. The weekend after that Colman was still gone, My dad had to work in bluff so we got in the car on thurday and drove down to bluff. That was exciting.....ok not really i spent the day in the hotel on the internet. Great day if you ask me  The next weekend i got to miss school again and go to the Saltflats, it was kinda cold but once i got riding i had so much fun. Iv'e been sick this weekend, but on Friday, Erin, Nic and Norah came for a little easter egg hunt and to paint eggs. Norah had sooo much fun she is adorable!

Apples and Thanksgiving

I haven't blogged in a long long time, so here is an update. We had our annual apple party two weeks before thanksgiving. Then we spent Thanksgiving in North Carolina. Two weeks in North Carolina, It was great! It was a lot warmer then we expected it to be this time of year. We flew into Norfolk Virginia and spent a day in Virginia before we picked up Erin and Nic. We went to Chincoteague island, to see the ponies of Chincoteague. That night we picked up Erin, Nic and  and spent another night in Virginia. We woke up early the next morning, well.... it seemed early to me because i was up all night. Then we got in the car for a long day, drove to Buxton where we met Josh and Jess.  We had a really good dinner that night. When we got back to the hotel we just talked and caught up, it's been awhile since we've all been together. Well, the next day we woke up even earlier...squished in the car and drove to North Carolina. Erin and Nic had it pretty good, But Colman and I had to sit in the back seat with Norah. It wasn't the most comfortable ride, two teenagers and a car seat....if you can imagine. We only stopped a few times that day, so when we finally got to the ferry all three of us in the back seat were dying to get out. It's about a 30 minute ferry ride from Hatteras to The Outer Banks. Then another 30 minutes from the ferry to the house we were staying at. FINALLY we were there! If you've ever rented a house on vacation you know how exciting it is to go inside and look around for an hour getting used to the place. If you haven't ever rented a house, a hotel is just about the same, the only difference is the time you spend exploring the place, because it's only one room.

Josh's best friend Danny and his family also came and spend the week with us. We got there on Sunday, and that night we had Thai food and spent the rest of the night relaxing. On Monday we went to the beach, The water was kind of cold, but every time i go to the beach i HAVE to walk in the water. Collecting shells and walking in the water, possibly the best thing ever. It was also Ellie's first time to the beach so Josh was really excited. Norah was being stubborn and didn't decide to have fun until we were about to leave. We got home and everyone said "Alexi you can't shower until everyone else has showered" because they all know better then to let me shower first.

On Tuesday we went fishing, Josh and Nic were really excited, Colman didn't get up until Nic had to yell at him.   I took some Dramamine and slept all day long. I woke up a few times then went right back to sleep. I wasn't sure why I was sleeping so much then I realized i had taken the drowsy formula. "Mild drowsiness may occur" then Nic gave me some Monster i felt good after that and stayed awake for the rest of the trip. When we got back I felt tired again, so i laid down on the couch Jess took one look at me and laughed "are you ok Alexi?" I expected that... I said I was fine then went upstairs to go back to sleep.

On Wednesday we got a Turduken It was pretty dang delicious. Later in the week we found a place where we got fresh shrimp and clams. I think that is when me and jess got along the most, when we were eating shrimp. We are definitely best of friends when there's a plate of shrimp and a bowl of melted butter in front of us. well, Thursday was thanksgiving. Turduken one day, turkey the next pretty great right? Pumpkin pie with ice cream, best thing ever! We bought our pies so we didn't have to make them that was kind of sad. oh well.
Well the next night we had more shrimp and clams. It was delicious, once again Jess and i were the best of friends.....that is until she slapped me, that's right she slapped me. She saw a mosquito on my face and slapped it. I guess she can't be fast and gentle because she slapped me  SO HARD! My ear was bright red. She felt really bad, although it was funny. To this day I bet she still feels bad.
After that the rest of the trip went by so fast. We went to the beach one more time, the next day we piled in the car and started driving back to Virginia. We stayed in a really nice hotel right on the beach for two more nights. Even though Josh and Jess only got to stay one night. Well, saying goodbye wasn’t easy and it never will be. We said goodbye and Josh and Jess were on their way home. That night seemed long. It ended and we all went to bed and woke up the next morning and packed up into the car and drove to the airport
